Biography

Franklin Hayes has been painting since the age of ten when he visited a San Francisco art museum and saw his first Rembrandt. Hayes taught figurative art and illustration for many years at Pacific Northwest College of Art and the Portland Art Institute, but recently he has moved away from representational painting to create a unique world of light and energy. He thrives on creating pictures that pose questions and embody the idea that "Important artists create worlds that would not otherwise have existed." He currently lives with his wife in Ridgefield, Washington.

Franklin Hayes is currently seeking to expand his gallery profile.
